Nick Catalano is an illustrator, designer, and animator from Pennsylvania. Despite being a more quiet, self-reserved individual throughout childhood, he had always been very passionate about storytelling and worldbuilding.

The floodgates would truly open up for Nick in 2016, as he came to Lesley University College of Art + Design in Cambridge, MA. Nick became exposed to a much wider variety of people and events that would help enrich his understanding of art and its impact on the world. Nick would then graduate in 2020 with a BFA in Illustration and a minor in Design.

Nick’s craftsmanship is dynamic, as he’s not only skilled with both traditional and digital mediums, but has also become dedicated to trying new means of bringing characters and their worlds to life. Since 2019 he had taken up 2D animation, teaching himself on his own time utilizing the principles used for his illustrative works.

Whether it’s humorous, weird, or even sublime, Nick has come to view art as a means of living that can enrich our understanding of ourselves and the constantly changing world that surrounds us. He hopes to continue carrying out this belief to grow stronger and take on new ventures.
